We Burn then we Bloom

At the time I didn’t know….
I sat in the flames that consumed my life.
 
I watched it all burn away in the rage of fire.
 
I felt such deep shame and terror as it all fell around me.
 
With a spark of the match, it all burned to the ground.
In that moment of total loss,
I couldn’t know what was to come.
 
A victory over addiction,
 
a beautiful family,
 
and a real sense of knowing it was time to SPEAK MY TRUTH.
 
This print is a reminder of the power in new beginnings and honors the brutal process that they can be. My hope is this artwork will give strength and tenacity if you are in the middle of the burn. And I hope this piece will become a reminder of your journey and what you have conquered.
